EAST CENTRAL ELBERT COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO NORTH CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LIMON * UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT * AT 930 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED RAIN HAD FINALLY ENDED ACROSS EAST CENTRAL ELBERT AND NORTH CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTIES. HOWEVER THE LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED NUMEROUS COUNTY ROADS WERE FLOODED JUST TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF LIMON ALONG WITH PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 71. THE PUBLIC REPORTED 7 INCHES OF RAIN FELL BETWEEN 6 PM AND 9 PM 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LIMON WITH 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVING OCCURRED IN LIMON. LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO...LIMON. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
