* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN ADAMS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA
  SOUTHERN HETTINGER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA

* UNTIL 1045 PM MDT

* AT 642 PM MDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN 21 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BENTLEY...OR ABOUT 45 MILES EAST OF
  BOWMAN...MOVING EAST AT 10 MPH.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR...
   MOTT AT 720 PM MDT

A SERIES OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN KEEP MOVING OVER THE
WARNED AREA...WHICH EARLIER RECEIVED 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN LAST
NIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING. THESE STORMS ARE PRODUCING 1 TO 2 
INCHES OF RAIN AN HOUR.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
