  SOUTHWESTERN ALBANY COUNTY IN EASTERN NEW YORK

* UNTIL 915 PM EDT

* AT 411 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN IN SOUTHWESTERN ALBANY COUNTY.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...CLARKSVILLE...PRESTON HOLLOW... 
  RENSSELAERVILLE...SOUTH WESTERLO...WESTERLO...AND ALONG THE        
  HANNACROIS CREEK.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE

AT 615 PM EDT THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR ALBANY COUNTY WAS 
CANCELLED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY.

IN EXCESS OF 3 INCHES OF RAIN FELL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER 
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ALBANY COUNTY.  BY 6 PM...HEAVY RAINS HAD ENDED 
ACROSS ALBANY COUNTY.  WHILE A FEW SHOWERS WILL PERSIST IN THE AREA 
THROUGH 8 PM...THE THREAT OF NEW FLOODING HAS DIMINISHED.
