  MECKLENBURG COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 1115 AM EDT

* AT 916 AM EDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTED AN AREA OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL
  NEAR CHASE CITY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. DOPPLER RADAR   
  ESTIMATED OVER 3 INCHES OF RAIN IN THE PAST 3 HOURS OVER WESTERN 
  PORTIONS OF THE COUNTIES IN THE WARNED AREA...WITH ISOLATED TOTALS
  ABOVE 4 INCHES.

* HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM
  THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME

VEHICLES. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE
