THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ABERDEEN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BROWN COUNTY IN NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA

* UNTIL 300 PM CDT

* AT 124 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OF OVER 3 INCHES  
  IN THE WARNED AREA. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE IN THE AREA  
  THROUGH 3 PM CDT. 

REPORTS FROM SPOTTERS INDICATE VEHICHLES ARE BECOMING STRANDED IN 
STANDING WATER IN PARTS OF ABERDEEN.  

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. AS LITTLE AS 6 INCHES OF WATER MAY CAUSE YOU TO LOSE CONTROL
OF YOU VEHICLE. TWO FEET OF WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST VEHICLES
INCLUDING SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES AND PICKUPS. NEARLY HALF OF ALL
FLOOD FATALITIES ARE VEHICLE RELATED.
