THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  CHOCTAW COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
  LATIMER COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
  LE FLORE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
  PUSHMATAHA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 730 PM CST

* AT 330 PM CST LOCALIZED FLOODING WAS REPORTED IN SEVERAL AREAS OF 
  CHOCTAW...PUSHMATAHA AND LATIMER COUNTIES.  SIMILAR RAINFALL HAS
  ALSO OCCURRED OVER PORTIONS OF LE FLORE COUNTY WHICH MAY HAVE 
  RESULTED IN SIMILAR INCIDENTS OF LOCALIZED FLOODING THERE.   

  FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED OVER PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 109 IN CHOCTAW 
  COUNTY...HIGHWAY 82 SOUTH OF RED OAK IN LATIMER COUNTY...AND ALSO 
  IN THE ONE CREEK VALLEY AREA EAST OF FINLEY IN PUSHMATAHA COUNTY.  

  RADAR ESTIMATES AND RAINFALL REPORTS INDICATES THAT 3 TO 5 INCHES 
  OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE WARNED AREA. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES 
  WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 730 PM CST.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS 
THE ROADWAY. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
