THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOPEKA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BROWN COUNTY IN NORTHEAST KANSAS
  EASTERN NEMAHA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST KANSAS

* UNTIL 800 AM CDT

* AT 522 AM CDT...FLASH FLOODING WAS REPORTED

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED...
  HIAWATHA
  GOFF
  WILLIS
  POWHATTAN

AT 525 AM THE NEMAHA COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED WATER UP TO A 
FOOT DEEP OVER U.S. HIGHWAY 75 NEAR SABETHA.  RADAR ESTIMATES 
INDICATED 5 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN PARTS OF NEMAHA AND 
BROWN COUNTY OVERNIGHT.  THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE IN 
BROWN AND NEMAHA COUNTY WITH ADDITIONAL FLOODING LIKELY.

DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD. THE WATER
MAY BE VERY DEEP. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED.
