THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREAT FALLS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE BURNED AREA ACROSS
  NORTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MONTANA
  NORTHERN BROADWATER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MONTANA   
  SOUTHERN LEWIS AND CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MONTANA

* UNTIL 600 AM MDT

* THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS FOR THE BURNED AREAS OF THE CANYON
  FERRY COMPLEX...BOULDER HILL/HIGH ORE COMPLEX...AND NORTHERN   
  PORTIONS OF THE TOSTON/MAUDLOW COMPLEX. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
  RADAR WAS SHOWING LIGHT RAINFALL OCCURRING OVER THE BURNED AREAS. 
  THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH MOST OF THE NIGHT. WHILE
  MOST OF THE RAIN WIL BE LIGHT...MODERATE SHOWERS ARE LIKELY.
  THIS COULD CAUSE SOME RUNOFF OVER THE BURNED AREAS AND THE 
  POTENTIAL FOR MUDSLIDES AND RAPID RISES ON SMALL CREEKS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE 
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS 
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY 
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK 
HIGHER GROUND.
