THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN COFFEE COUNTY IN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1030 PM CST...

* AT 931 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER EXTREME 
  NORTHWEST COFFEE COUNTY NORTH OF PINE LEVEL AND SHADY GROVE.  RAIN 
  RATES HAVE BEEN IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES PER HOUR.  ACCUMULATIONS OF 
  NEAR TWO INCHES HAVE OCCURED THROUGH 9PM CST AND HEAVY 
  RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE WITH THIS SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM.

* DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
  ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
  CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
  QUICKLY. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO SWEEP MOST
  CARS AWAY. REMEMBER...MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.

* RESIDENTS IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS
  AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND SHOULD FLOOD WATERS
