THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN BENTON COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 1015 PM CDT

* AT 717 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
  WINDSOR. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY. DOPPLER RADAR   
  ESTIMATED THAT AROUND THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN 
  NORTHWESTERN BENTON COUNTY SINCE 630 PM.
 
* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...LINCOLN.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE 
WARNED AREA THROUGH 830 PM.
