HOWELL COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI OREGON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI * UNTIL 715 PM CDT * AT 422 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL FROM WEST PLAINS SOUTHEAST TO NEAR LANTON. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED UP TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WITHIN THE LAST HOUR. * RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING INCLUDE...WEST PLAINS...LANTON...KOSHKONONG...SOUTH FORK...AND AREAS NEAR HOWELL CREEK AND MYATT CREEK.
