THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DADE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT

* AT 1105 AM CDT... THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL EXTENDED 
FROM CARTHAGE TO DADEVILLE.  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED TWO TO THREE 
INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER DADE COUNTY SINCE 8 AM.  PERIODS OF 
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 1 PM...CONTINUING THE 
FLOOD THREAT THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...EVERTON...GREENFIELD AND LOCKWOOD.

CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS IF WATER COVERS THE
