THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MORGAN COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 315 PM CDT

* AT 1212 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL EXTENDING FROM COLE CAMP TO 
VERSAILLES...MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED ONE TO 
TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL IN THE PAST TWO HOURS ACROSS WESTERN AND 
CENTRAL MORGAN COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL RATES OF ONE HALF TO ONE 
INCH IS EXPECTED THROUGH 130 PM.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...VERSAILLES.

PUBLIC REPORTS OF ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN 
VERSIALLES AS OF 1145 AM...AND SOME STREET FLOODING HAS OCCURRED.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROFSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
