THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN HENRY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL VIRGINIA...

* UNTIL 1145 PM EDT.

* AT 845 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH   
  FLOODING ALONG ROUTE 220 JUST NORTH OF BASSETT FORKS.  TWELVE
  FEET OF WATER WAS REPORTED IN THE NORTH BOUND LANES...RESULTING
  IN THE CLOSURE OF THE HIGHWAY. 

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ABOUT A HALF INCH...TO AN INCH...IS POSSIBLE
OVER HENRY COUNTY BEFORE MIDNIGHT.  RUNOFF FROM THIS RAINFALL WILL
CONTINUE TO AGGRAVATE ONGOING FLOODING.
