THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG IS EXTENDING THE  

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN TAZEWELL COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 1145 PM EDT.

* AT 1015 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  CONTINUED RAINFALL OVER EASTERN TAZEWELL COUNTY. THE AREA WAS 
  MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 5 MPH.

SMALLER CREEKS AND STREAMS IN THE EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE COUNTY 
WILL BE SLOW TO RECEDE WITH ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL...AND A COUPLE 
OF ADDITIONAL STORMS OVER NORTHERN BLAND AND WESTERN MERCER COUNTY 
WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA BETWEEN 10:20 PM AND 11:00 PM. STREET 
FLOODING IN BLUEFIELD VA WILL LIKELY CONTINUE AS WELL.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED.
