* AT 600 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  A PERSISTENT AREA OF HEAVY RAIN FROM LEWISBURG TO RUPERT WEST
  VIRGINIA.  THE HEAVIEST OF THE RAIN WAS OCCURING IN THE HIGHER
  ELEVATIONS...JUST NORTHWEST OF LEWISBURG.  

* A SPOTTER IN MCROSS WEST VIRGINIA REPORTS THAT AROUND 3.5 INCHES
  OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE 7:00 AM.  THERE WAS ALSO A REPORT THAT
  ROUTE 60 WAS COVERED BY WATER NEAR RUPERT WEST VIRGINIA.
