THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE BLUESTONE RIVER AND ITS 
  TRIBUTARYS...         
  MERCER COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST WEST VIRGINIA   
  SUMMERS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST WEST VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 300 AM EDT.

* AT 1145 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO MERCER AND SUMMERS COUNTIES IN 
WEST VIRGINIA. THIS RAIN WILL SPREAD INTO AN AREA WHICH HAS ALREADY 
RECEIVED BETWEEN THREE AND FIVE INCHES OF RAIN ON SUNDAY. STATE 
POLICE INDICATED THAT SIGNIFICANT FLOODING CONTINUES ALONG THE 
BLUESTONE RIVER FROM BLUEFIELD TO PIPESTEM WEST VIRGINIA. HIGHWAY 
DEPARTMENTS REPORTED ROADWAYS REMAIN UNDER WATER TONIGHT. THERE ARE 
ROAD CLOSURES ALONG ROUTE 52 AND ROUTE 10.
