THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BATH COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 715 PM EDT.

* AT 409 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 5 MILES EAST OF WARM
  SPRINGS...MOVING EAST AT 4 MPH.

THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO RE-FORM OVER THE COUNTY...AND REPORTS OF 
NEAR BANKFULL STREAMS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING IN CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY.
