THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LEE COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA
  MOORE COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 1000 PM EDT

* MINOR FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED ON ROADS IN THE VASS...CARTHAGE 
..AND SEVEN LAKES AREAS OF MOORE COUNTY. 

* THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEEN SATURATED THIS AFTERNOON AS RAINFALL 
UP TO 5 INCHES HAS FALLEN OVER THE AREA. RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 
THE EVENING. MINOR FLOODING ALREADY IN PROGRESS WILL WORSEN AND 
BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODS. DRIVING INTO FLOODED AREAS IS THE NUMBER ONE 
CAUSE OF WEATHER RELATED FATALITIES IN NORTH CAROLINA.
