THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EL PASO COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO

* UNTIL 900 PM MDT

* AT 608 PM MDT RADAR AND REPORTS FROM THE HAM RADIO COMMUNITY  
  INDICATE THE HEAVY RAIN WHICH WAS FALLING OVER COLORADO SPRINGS
  HAS ENDED. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER
  COLORADO SPRINGS THROUGH 7 PM THIS EVENING. ALTHOUGH NO MORE 
  HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR WHERE HEAVY RAINS OCCURRED 
  EARLIER TODAY...PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS WILL CONTINUE 
  UNTIL THIS EVENING. INTERSTATE 25 IS STILL REPORTED TO BE 
  CLOSED AT BIJOU DUE TO FLOODING. THE FOUNTAIN CREEK IN COLORADO
  SPRINGS IS EXPECTED TO REACH JUST BELOW FLOOD STAGE EARLY THIS
  EVENING...AND THEN FALL RAPIDLY LATER THIS EVENING.

* SOME PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN
  EL PASO COUNTY DURING THE EVENING HOURS. HOWEVER...NO PREVIOUS 
  HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THIS AREA...AND SIGNIFICANT FLASH 
  FLOODING IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
