THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPOKANE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN OKANOGAN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON

* UNTIL 915 PM PDT

* AT 825 PM PDT...THE OKANOGAN COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED LOCALIZED
  FLASH FLOODING IN THE VICINITY OF MOLSON...BETWEEN OROVILLE AND
  CHESAW.

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES IN
THIS AREA...WITH RAINFALL CONTINUING. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS
STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND
STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND ARROYOS...AS WELL
AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS. TRIBUTARIES OF
THE OKANOGAN RIVER EAST OF OROVILLE WILL SEE THE MAIN IMPACT FROM
THESE STORMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
