THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FREEBORN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  FARIBAULT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 330 AM CDT

* AT 1228 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
  OVER THE WARNED AREA.  MORE THUNDERSTORMS WERE ACROSS NORTHERN
  IOWA...TRACKING TO THE NORTHEAST AND WILL DEPOSIT BETWEEN 1 AND 2
  INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER FREEBORN AND FARIBAULT COUNTIES THROUGH
  330 AM.

* THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEEN SATURATED BY RECENT RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA...AND ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUNOFF AND CAUSE FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER
COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
