THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHOCTAW COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1230 AM CDT

* THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LISMAN

* AT 825 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY      
  RAIN OVER THE NORTHER THIRD OF CHOCTAW COUNTY. ADDITIONAL HEAVY    
  RAIN WAS ENTERING THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CHOCTAW COUNTY. THE      
  HEAVY RAINS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. RADAR SHOWS 4 TO 6    
  INCHES MAY HAVE FALLEN IN THE NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE COUNTY      
  SINCE THIS AFTERNOON. 

* THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF  
  CHOCTAW COUNTY THROUGH MIDNIGHT. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER 
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE 
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS 
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY 
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK 
HIGHER GROUND.
