THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  PIKE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS

* UNTIL 300 AM CDT

* AT 1242 AM...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR SHOWED THAT HEAVY RAIN HAD      
  MOSTLY ENDED IN PIKE COUNTY...BUT OVER 6 INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN    
  SOME AREAS FROM 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF DAISY TO AROUND PIKE CITY.    
  FLASH FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH OF            
  KIRBY...WITH WATER COVERING THE ROAD ON HIGHWAY 27. NEAR THE       
  FLOODED PORTION OF THE HIGHWAY...HIGH WATER PROBLEMS WERE ALSO     
  OCCURRING AT COWHIDE CREEK CAMPGROUND.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF YOU ENCOUNTER WATER ACROSS THE ROAD...TURN 
AROUND AND GO THE OTHER WAY.
