BOONE COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI * UNTIL 915 PM CDT * AT 717 PM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED FLASH FLOODING IN AND AROUND THE CITY OF COLUMBIA. ONE AND ONE HALF FOOT OF WATER WAS REPORTED ON ROADS IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE CITY MAKING ROADS IMPASSABLE AND STRANDING MOTORISTS. * FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE AFFECTING BOONE COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITY OF COLUMBIA FOR THE NEXT TWO HOURS UNTIL THE HEAVY RAIN SUBSIDES AND THE WATER RECEDES.
