THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RANDOLPH COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 630 PM CDT

* AT 340 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
  THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL EXTENDED FROM STEELEVILLE
  ILLINOIS TO CHESTER TO FARMINGTON MISSOURI.  THESE STORMS WERE
  MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  RADAR ESTIMATES THAT BETWEEN 2
  AND 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN BETWEEN CHESTER AND SPARTA. THESE
  STORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN 
  OVER THIS SAME AREA IN THE NEXT TWO HOURS.    

* FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE
  AFFECTING CHESTER...WELGE...STEELEVILLE...PERCY...SPARTA...
  KASKASKIA AND COULTERVILLE.
