* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  KNOX COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 800 AM CDT

* AT 321 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN IN SCOTLAND COUNTY NORTHWARD
INTO SOUTHERN IOWA. THESE STORMS ARE CURVING TO A MORE NORTH TO
SOUTH ORIENTATION AND ARE TRAINING OR FOLLOWING ONE ANOTHER TOWARD
KNOX COUNTY. COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF RAIN...PERHAPS LOCAL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO
6 INCHES WILL POSSIBLY FALL BEFORE SUNRISE!

* FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE
AFFECTING EDINA...GREENSBURG...NOVELTY AND OTHER COMMUNITIES IN THE
COUNTY. THE SOUTH FABIUS, MIDDLE FABIUS, AND OTHER SMALLER STREAMS
AND TRIBUTARIES WILL ALSO BE AFFECTED.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED OR IMMINENT...MOVE QUICKLY TO HIGHER
GROUND. NEVER DRIVE INTO AN AREA WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. ACT QUICKLY IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED. MOVE
TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT
TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
