* AT 509 PM CDT...AMATEUR RADIO WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A FLASH
  FLOOD ON HIGHWAY 137 ABOUT 7 MILES NORTH OF NEWPORT...OR ABOUT 12
  MILES NORTHEAST OF BASSETT.  THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN WAS NEARLY 
  STATIONARY.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR...
  7 MILES NORTH OF NEWPORT AT 650 PM CDT
