  LOWNDES COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 830 AM CDT

* AT 627 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN ON THE ORDER OF 1 TO 3 INCHES
PER HOUR. THE AREA FROM COLUMBUS...SOUTHWEST DOWN HIGHWAY 45 HAS 
ALREADY RECEIVED UPWARDS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL EARLIER THIS 
MORNING. REDEVELOP OF STORMS OVER THIS AREA HAS MOST LIKELY RESULTED 
IN RUN-OFF INTO NEARBY VIADUCTS...RIVERS AND STREAMS. URBAN FLOODING 
IN THE CITY OF COLUMBUS IS LIKELY AS WELL DURING THIS TIME.
