THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TAZEWELL COUNTY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 430 AM CDT

* AT 120 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS TAZEWELL COUNTY. BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2
  INCHES OF RAIN HAS BEEN ESTIMATED SINCE MIDNIGHT BETWEEN PEKIN AND
  DELAVAN.

* THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
  TAZEWELL COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO 2
  INCHES THROUGH 3 AM. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE 
  FLASH FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING ON FLOOD PRONE
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES. NEVER WALK OR DRIVE INTO FLOODED
AREAS AND ABANDON VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATERS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AT NIGHT TO JUDGE HOW
MUCH WATER COVERS ROADWAYS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS.
