VERMILION COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS EDGAR COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS * UNTIL 1000 PM CDT * AT 540 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAINS CONTINUING TO MOVE NORTHEAST OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHERN EDGAR AND SOUTHERN VERMILION COUNTIES. RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATE AS MUCH AS 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THESE AREAS ALREADY. * THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE SAME AREAS THROUGH 9 PM. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AS MUCH AS 2 INCHES AN HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SOME OF THE STRONGEST STORMS. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.
