  NEWAYGO COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MICHIGAN

* UNTIL 1245 AM EDT

* AT 1212 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  TORNADO 3 MILES EAST OF WHITE CLOUD...MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH.  THIS
  TORNADO WILL BE NEAR NEWAYGO STATE PARK BY 1235 AM EDT.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
