THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EDDY COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA
  
* UNTIL 330 AM CDT

* AT 926 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER MUCH OF EDDY COUNTY...
  PUSHING GRADUALLY TO THE SOUTH AND EAST. ADDITIONAL STORMS         
  CONTINUE TO DEVELOP WESTWARD.

* RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR WILL OCCUR IN EDDY    
  COUNTY OVER THE NEXT COUPLE HOURS...AS THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO   
  DEVELOP AND PUSH INTO THE AREA. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT OVER  
  TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL   
  EDDY COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RUN OFF QUICKLY...CREATING   
  THE POSSIBILITY OF STREET...BASEMENT...AND OVERLAND FLOODING. SOME 
  CITIES INCLUDED IN THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING ARE SHEYENNE AND NEW    
  ROCKFORD.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING 
ARE HARD TO RECOGNIZE. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO WATER 
OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL FLOAT MOST CARS 
DOWNSTREAM.
