THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHEROKEE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 930 PM EDT

* AT 739 PM EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCED SOME FLOODING   
  IN SOUTHERN CHEROKEE COUNTY.  OFFICIALS REPORTED A ROAD WASHED OUT 
  2 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CANTON. RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP 
  TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR. 

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE WOODSTOCK...CANTON AND BALL
  GROUND

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND LOW LYING ROADS. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
