THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MORGAN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 1215 AM EST

* AT 500 PM EST...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THE 
IMMINENT FAILURE OF PRITCHARD LAKE DAM NEAR OIL MILL ROAD ABOUT TWO 
MILES WEST OF MADISON. IF THIS EARTHEN DAM FAILS...THE ROADS 
AFFECTED WILL BE SLAUGHTER BEASLEY ROAD AND HIGHWAY 83. OUTFLOW FROM 
THE DAM IF IT BREAKS WILL FLOW INTO HARD LABOR CREEK. 

VOLUNTARY EVACUATIONS OF RESIDENTS WEST AND NORTH OF MADISON ARE IN 
PROGRESS.   

RESIDENTS IN THE AREA SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND 
IMMEDIATELY. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR LOCAL MEDIA FOR 
FURTHER DETAILS.
