* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RUSH COUNTY IN CENTRAL KANSAS
  NESS COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS
  TREGO COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL 915 PM CDT

* AT 610 PM CDT DODGE CITY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL ESTIMATES
  OF 3 TO 4 INCHES SINCE 430 PM CDT IN THE AREA AROUND 5 MILES       
  SOUTHWEST OF TREGO CENTER AND JUST UPSTREAM OF CEDAR BLUFF         
  RESERVOIR ON THE SMOKY HILL RIVER. ANOTHER AREA OF NEARLY 4 INCHES 
  OF RAIN WAS IN NORTHEAST NESS COUNTY AND NORTHWEST RUSH COUNTY     
  OVER THE SNAKE CREEK AND TIMBER CREEK BASINS NORTH OF A BROWNELL   
  TO MCCRACKEN LINE.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS...DITCHES...GULLEYS...DRAWS...ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND
ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
