955 PM EDT SAT MAY 26 2001

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS CONTINUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BLAIR COUNTY IN PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT.

* AT 950 PM EDT...LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED 
SEVERE FLOODING IN ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP...IN THE VICINITY OF 
DUNCANSVILLE.

SEVERAL ROADS WERE REPORTED AS CLOSED AND RESCUES HAVE BEGUN IN THE 
CROSSKEYS VILLAGE TRAILER COURT.

THE HEAVIEST RAINS HAVE ABATED AND WILL CONTINUE TO TAPER OFF TO 
JUST A FEW SHOWERS BY THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF SUNDAY. HOWEVER 
RUNOFF FROM THE EARLIER DOWNPOURS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLOODING 
PROBLEMS THROUGH 1 AM.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAINS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING 
OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES.
