THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CORTLAND COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW YORK.

* UNTIL 115 PM EDT.

* AT 1015 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED VERY HEAVY 
RAINS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY. SPOTTER AND RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE 
THAT ABOUT AN INCH OF RAIN /1.00/ HAS FALLEN SINCE 8 AM EDT WITH 
BETWEEN THREE /3.00/ AND FOUR /4.00/ INCHES SINCE FRIDAY EVENING. 

ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS WILL FALL THROUGH MIDDAY. THIS WILL CAUSE 
FLOODING OF STREAMS AND CREEKS...AS WELL AS OTHER LOW LYING AREAS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
