THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  CRAIG COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
  NOWATA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 1145 PM CDT

* AT 746 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
AN AREA OF VERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUING TO MOVE ACROSS MUCH OF NOWATA AND
CRAIG COUNTIES. FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IN PARTS OF THIS AREA AND AN
ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN MAY FALL THIS EVENING.

MADDEN AND SALT CREEKS NORTH OF NEW ALLUWE MAY ALREADY BE RISING RAPIDLY
AND MAY OVERFLOW ONTO NEARBY ROADS THIS EVENING.

SOME OTHER LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN
INCLUDE WELCH...BLUEJACKET...LENAPAH...DELAWARE AND NOWATA.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
