THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  OKFUSKEE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 737 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH MODERATE
  TO HEAVY RAIN OVER MUCH OF NORTHERN OKFUSKEE COUNTY...MOVING EAST
  AT 20 MPH.

  RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT WIDESPREAD 2 TO 4 INCHES
  INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER THE WARNED AREA.
  WHILE RAINFALL RATES HAVE DECREASED...AN ADDITIONAL 1/2 TO 1 INCH
  OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 930 PM CDT WHICH WILL RESULT IN
  CONTINUED RUNOFF PORBLEMS.

  OKFUSKEE COUNTY OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT WELTY ROAD WAS UNDER 2
  FEET OF WATER AND SEVERAL ROADS WERE WASHED OUT.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN
  INCLUDE WELTY...MASON AND OKFUSKEE.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
