THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  NORTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS

* UNTIL 645 AM CDT

* AT 1250 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN BETWEEN FERN AND CASS AND ON INTO
THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF FRANKLIN COUNTY.

RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT 2 INCHES OF RAIN FELL BETWEEN MIDNIGHT
AND 1245 AM...WITH HEAVY RAINS CONTINUING TO FALL IN THE WARNING
AREA.  RAPID RISES WILL LIKELY OCCUR ALONG THE MULBERRY RIVER AND
ITS TRIBUTARIES IN NORTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTY...WITH FLOODING OF
LOW-LYING AREAS LIKELY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
