NORTHERN SHAWNEE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS NORTHERN WABAUNSEE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS * UNTIL 1100 PM CDT * AT 955 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT A BAND OF MORE THAN 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN FROM ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MANHATTAN...THROUGH ROSSVILLE AND THROUGH THE REST OF FAR NORTHERN SHAWNEE COUNTY. MORE HEAVY RAIN MAY OCCUR IN THIS AREA TONIGHT. * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE... ROSSVILLE SILVER LAKE WILLARD MAPLE HILL PAXICO MCFARLAND FAR NORTHERN SECTIONS OF TOPEKA BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
