THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BOURBON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS

* UNTIL 1015 AM CDT

* AT 802 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
  AREA OF MODERATE RAINFALL OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS WHICH WILL TRACK   
  ACROSS BOURBON COUNTY THIS MORNING.  TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN
  HAS FALLEN OVER BOURBON COUNTY SINCE MIDNIGHT. 

* ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED TO FALL ACROSS BOURBON
  COUNTY THIS MORNING.  THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL LEAD TO LOCALIZED
  FLOODING...ESPECIALLY TO FLOOD PRONE AREAS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS
  ON CREEKS IN AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF FORT SCOTT IN NORTHERN BOURBON
  COUNTY.

IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...MOTORISTS SHOULD TURN AROUND AND SEEK AN 
ADDITIONAL ROUTE.  ATTEMPTING TO CROSS A FLOODED AREA MAY RESULT IN 
YOUR VEHICLE IN BEING SWEPT DOWNSTREAM AND POTENTIAL DEATHS.  REPORT
