* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN SHANNON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI
  SOUTHWESTERN DENT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI
  NORTHEASTERN TEXAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 745 PM CDT

* AT 439 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL NEAR LICKING...OR 14 MILES
  NORTHEAST OF HOUSTON. THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO BACK BUILD OVER
  NORTHERN TEXAS COUNTY AND WERE MOVING OVER THE SAME AREAS IN NORTHEAST
  TEXAS...SOUTHWEST DENT AND NORTHWEST SHANNON COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR 
  ESTIMATED OVER 4 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 330 PM NEAR THE MONTAUK STATE 
  PARK AREA. PIGEON CREEK ALONG HIGHWAY 32 WAS BEGINNING TO RISE. THIS
  CREEK FLOWS INTO THE MONTAUK STATE PARK AREA...SO FLASH FLOODING MAY
  DEVELOP IN THE PARK AREA DURING THE NEXT HOUR.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...LICKING...MONTAUK STATE PARK AND RAYMONDVILLE.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND
ARROYOS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
