THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BOURBON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS

* UNTIL 915 AM CDT

* AT 600 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN FROM NEAR FT SCOTT
  TO UNIONTOWN. A LARGE CLUSTER OF STORMS EXTENDING WESTWARD INTO 
  CENTRAL KANSAS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD THROUGH BOURBON COUNTY
  PRODUCING AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN THIS MORNING.  

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...FORT SCOTT...REDFIELD AND UNIONTOWN.

IF YOU LIVE IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.  CREEKS
AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECBIALLY HAZARDOUS THIS MORNING.
