THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN YADKIN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA...

* UNTIL 815 AM EDT.

* AT 520 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL NEAR EAST BEND.  THE STORM 
  HAS BEEN NEARLY STATIONARY OVER THIS AREA SINCE MIDNIGHT.  RADAR
  ESTIMATES THAT BETWEEN 3 AND 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN BETWEEN
  EAST BEND AND ENON.

LOCATIONS THREATENED BY HEAVY RAIN THROUGH 815 AM EDT INCLUDE
  EAST BEND...

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING IN NORTHEASTERN YADKIN COUNTY.
