* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

* AT 317 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WINSTON SALEM AREA.
THESE STORMS STRETCH ALONG I-40 FROM LEWISVILLE AND CLEMMONS THROUGH
WINSTON-SALEM INTO KERNERSVILLE AND WILL PERSIST FOR THE NEXT 1 TO 2
HOURS.

UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN DURING THE PAST HALF HOUR AND
ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL CAUSE FLOODING ON ROADS AND IN LOW-LYING AREAS.
MOTORISTS SHOULD DRIVE CAUTIOUSLY AS ROADS WILL BE SLICK AND
VISIBILITY REDUCED IN HEAVY SHOWERS.
