THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WAKE COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 415 AM EDT

* AT 110 AM EDT...A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WAS
OVER WESTERN WAKE COUNTY. WAKE COUNTY EMA OFFICIALS REPORT WATER UP
TO THE DOOR HANDLES OF A FEW CARS ON GLENWOOD AVENUE BY RDU
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. ABOUT 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE
1245 AM IN THE VICINITY OF RDU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THIS WILL
CAUSE RAPID RISES ALONG CRABTREE CREEK INTO NORTH RALEIGH. AN
ADDITIONAL ONE INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE OVER WEST AND NORTH SECTIONS
OF WAKE COUNTY THROUGH 2 AM.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
