THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN MARICOPA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA
  NORTHEASTERN LA PAZ COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARIZONA

* UNTIL 600 PM MST

* AT 1250 PM MST...THE PUBLIC REPORTED VERY HEAVY RAIN AT
  WICKENBURG...AND TO THE WEST FROM TONOPAH TO AGUILA AND INTO
  NORTHEAST LA PAZ COUNTY OVER THE CENTENNIAL WASH.  RAPID RUNOFF
  IS EXPECTED IN THE SOLS WASH...MARTINEZ WASH...AND THE
  HASSAYAMPA RIVER BASIN...IN VICINITY OF WICKENBURG. RAINFALL
  RATES OF ONE INCH PER HOUR HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN THE AREA.

* THE THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR...
  AGUILA TO WICKENBURG ALONG HIGHWAY 60 AND SOLS WASH...
  NEAR AND NORTHEAST OF WENDEN ALONG THE CENTENNIAL WASH.

THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS FLASH FLOOD WARNING
FOR NORTHWEST MARICOPA AND EASTERN LA PAZ COUNTIES...INCLUDING
CENTENNIAL WASH...TO 600 PM.  THIS WARNING INCLUDES WICKENBURG.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
HIGHER GROUND.
