THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN NEW CASTLE COUNTY IN DELAWARE

* UNTIL 400 AM EST.

* AT 1152 PM EST...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED UP TO TWO INCHES
  OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER NORTHERN DELAWARE SINCE LATE MONDAY
  AFTERNOON.  AT THAT SAME TIME...THE STREAM GAGE AT COOCHS BRIDGE
  ON THE CHRISTINA RIVER WAS 8.13 FEET AND RISING.  FLOOD STAGE IS
  9 FEET.  A CREST OF NEAR 10 FEET IS EXPECTED AT COOCHS BRIDGE
  EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.


THE WHITE CLAY AND RED CLAY CREEKS IN NORTHERN NEW CASTLE COUNTY ARE
ALSO IN DANGER OF FLOODING.  IF YOU LIVE ALONG ANY OF THESE
WATERWAYS...KEEP ABREAST OF RISING WATER LEVELS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE
ACTION TO KEEP YOURSELF SAFE.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE
